Attention EE and Three! Vodafone reveals affordable way to buy iPhone

Vodafone thinks they have found the perfect way to buy your next smartphone. The UK network has just announced the launch of its new EVO plans which offer a number of features that rivals such as EE and Three cannot match. Vodafone says EVO “sets a new benchmark in flexibility and value for customers” with those who sign up being able to decide exactly how they want to pay for their new iPhone or Android device.

EVO basically lets you trade in an old phone to lower the initial cost, and then you can put in as much money as you want to lower the monthly payments even more. The remainder of the balance can then be paid over 12-36 months, with Vodafone charging no interest on the amount you owe.

The network says customers will be able to choose how much data they need each month with offers starting at 2 GB. Unlimited options will also be available. In addition to this more affordable way to buy a new phone, there are other benefits to EVO, including the ability to switch to a new smartphone before the contract ends.

These flexible upgrades mean you’re not tied to the device for the duration of the contract, and after 12 months it’s possible to trade things in and use the value of the current device to help. to pay for things.

Commenting on the launch, Max Taylor, Director of Consumer Affairs at Vodafone UK, said: “In 2019 we rocked the market with 5G at no extra cost and unlimited data plans. Now we are changing the market again. With budgets tight for so many, we’re launching a whole new way to buy a smartphone aimed at ensuring our customers are in control and getting the best value possible.

“The new Vodafone EVO allows customers to get the smartphone they want at the price they choose. We set a new benchmark in flexibility, combining the benefits of device contracts of up to three years, a market-leading trade-in service and the ability to upgrade from one year.

“We put the responsibility on the customer – we give them unbeatable flexibility and value, but making sure they don’t have to compromise on quality, with a great network, great loyalty program and excellent service.
