Gary Neville and Roy Keane lead ITV expert training for Euro 2020

ITV rushed to enlist the services of Gary Neville, Roy Keane and many other top experts for Euro 2020 this summer.

The terrestrial channel will share the responsibility of broadcasting the action of the summer tournament with its rivals BBC, but seems to have lined up a cast of stars to envy a few weeks before kick-off.

Main presenters Mark Pougatch and Seema Jaswal will be at the forefront of the cover, along with Reshmin Chowdhury.

Sky Sports regulars Neville, Keane, Graeme Souness and Ashley Cole will provide their perspective, as will Patrick Vieira and Ian Wright, most of whom featured on ITV’s 2018 World Cup coverage.

ITV’s star lineup for this summer’s Euro 2020 coverage

Eni Aluko, Robert Earnshaw, Emma Hayes, Nigel de Jong, John Collins, Joe Ledley, Nadia Nadim, Scott Brown and Andros Townsend make up the pool of experts available for the tournament, of which ITV will screen 27 matches over its duration.

In keeping with the recent trend, former referee Peter Walton will also be on standby for all key decisions and analysis in the studio.

Sam Matterface will be the main commentator for England’s matches after recently spoofing Clive Tyldesley, who is still on the squad along with Joe Speight, Seb Hutchinson and Tom Gayle, who will be joined by Lee Dixon, Ally McCoist and John Hartson.

ITV secured the rights to England’s highly anticipated clash with Scotland, as well as their final group game with the Czech Republic, in addition to France v Germany, Wales v Italy and several other major competitions involving Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
