Manchester United have made an improved offer for Borussia Dortmund striker Jadon Sancho, who is estimated to be worth over £ 75million.
The structure of the proposed supply would see United paying more up front with the rest in achievable top-ups.
United’s initial offer was valued at £ 67million in advance, plus around £ 8million in add-ons.
Dortmund are believed to be considering the latest offer, although reports in Germany suggest they value Sancho at over £ 80million.
However, all parties are ready to strike a deal with the current Sancho deal in the summer of 2023.
United remain the “most realistic destination” for Sancho – although other clubs are still interested.
When asked if his future was an unwanted distraction leading up to Euro 2020, Sancho said talkSPORT: “No, I’m cool about it.
âYou know, there will always be speculation, especially when you’re doing well.
âIt’s just the way you handle it on the pitch and keep doing what you’re doing.
“If you continue like this I’m sure it won’t be a problem because the main thing is my football and that’s what I’m focusing on right now.”
Potential future club teammates Marcus Rashford, Dean Henderson, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire are all part of the England squad alongside Sancho as talks continue, but the winger has revealed little.
âOf course all boys have a lot of questions, you know,â he added.
“I feel like it’s with a lot of players because we’re all such great young talents and, you know, when you’re doing well – again, like I said – speculation is always going arise.
“Again, I’m just saying to the boys, ‘look, I’m just focused on football right now’ and we’re focusing on the Euro step by step.”

âHaving extended Edinson Cavani’s stay in Manchester and with high hopes for the continued development of Mason Greenwood, it would be a surprise if one of Harry Kane or Erling Haaland arrives at Old Trafford. they haven’t been reviewed they have, but Manchester United have other areas to strengthen and their transfer money can only expand so far.
âRaising funding for player sales or freeing up large chunks of departing wages would, once again, allow for more flexibility and Solskjaer and his recruiting team also remain Sancho admirers.
âThe key to what Manchester United want to do, in a context where supporters are demanding big names despite the impact of COVID, is to close the gap on Manchester City and prepare for a real Champions League switch. next season. This is the first window transfer for the club’s new recruiting structure and they can expect to be busy in the coming weeks. “
