If you call L&K Real Estate’s last agent, Darren Streets, when he’s not at his office or in the field to help clients, he may be tending to his horses in his family farm at Gallatin Gateway. The Virginia native made his home in southwestern Montana in 2001 alongside his wife, Blythe, and twin daughters and sons.

Streets entered real estate with a solid background to bolster his business – the Clemson University graduate owned and operated a building inspection business in Gallatin Valley for the past 15 years and worked for seven years in insurance against natural disasters.

Streets was drawn to real estate because he wanted to use his experience to share Montana’s slower pace of life with those looking to settle in the area.

“When you move in here you sort of settle into the speed of Montana life and that’s a challenge we see when people move here: getting them to catch their breath,” Streets says.

He is also passionate about responsible growth – quality L&K and Outlaw Real Estate Partners, owned by Outlaw Partner, publisher of this newspaper, share as the region grows.

Despite his growth, one thing that doesn’t change about Bozeman, says Streets, is this degree of separation in the community.

” Where you go [in Bozeman] there’s probably someone in the crowd or at the party or at the dinner party who’s kind of a friend or acquaintance, ”Streets says.

The outdoor enthusiast first moved here for ski touring and fishing and has since embraced all that Montana has to offer, passing on his love for the land and its resources to his children and also sharing it with his clients.

Streets says listening to her customers is important: what do they like, what are their hobbies and needs, and what is their outlook on their life in Montana like? After inspecting more than 3,000 buildings in the Gallatin Valley during his previous career, Streets says he “knows the lay of the land” and applies that knowledge to homeownership.

Contact Darren Streets today by email, [email protected] or by phone, 406-570-4862 and find out how he can help you with your real estate needs. He is passionate about Montana and eager to guide his clients with local knowledge of the area as well as help them select solid, well-maintained properties.
