The couple, who have been together for four years, had shared an ultrasound when they first announced the pregnancy.
Adams previously said the couple underwent two unsuccessful rounds of IVF, with Baig, a model, miscarrying.
They started trying to conceive in 2019.
Adams said there was “a stigma attached to the IVF process” and a lack of parenting books for same-sex families.
The former professional boxer made history in 2020 as part of Strictly Come Dancing’s first gay couple alongside Katya Jones.
They were forced off the show early after Jones tested positive for COVID-19.
