Sky isn’t the only company offering FREE broadband! Access the Internet without paying

Want to have broadband for free? That’s exactly what Sky is offering customers at the moment with the satellite TV company offering internet access when customers sign up for the popular Sky Q and Netflix package. This freebie reduces the price of this package to just £26 per month and even includes access to channels such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, National Geographic and MTV.

Now you might be thinking that this all sounds too good to be true and there must be a catch.

The only caveat is that the free broadband lasts for the first six months of the 18-month contract, with things then ramping up to the standard £56.50 charge for the rest of the term.

You also only get speeds of 59Mbps, which is fine for households that just want to send a few emails, browse the web and watch Netflix, but it might not be ideal for busy households where many people are streaming and making video calls at the same time.

So that’s Sky’s deal, but there are other ways to get broadband without paying a penny.

First, there’s a new offer from Three Mobile that currently offers customers the chance to get three months of free home internet access via a cashback incentive.

Once a user has signed up for the company’s 5G broadband service, they will receive a £60 prepaid Mastercard which covers the first 90 days of web use.

Three is different from other providers because it pumps internet into living rooms via a mobile signal rather than a landline connection.

One of the benefits of this is that you don’t need an engineer to show up and start drilling holes in walls with Three simply sending a router which plugs directly into the mains and connects automatically.

Finally, there is another way to access broadband without paying. Internet service provider Hyperoptic has just launched a new offer which includes three months of free access for customers.

This basically means you can sign up today but start paying anything until much later in the summer.

As well as offering free stuff, Hyperoptic has also reduced the price of some of its plans with stuff starting now from £22 per month.
