Sky UK offers free broadband and TV advertising to 100 SMEs

Sky (Sky Broadband) will today reintroduce its £ 2million SME Support Program, which pledges to provide 100 UK small businesses with £ 20,000 in Sky Media TV advertising and 12 months free.ultra-fast professional broadbandAnd the digital telephony package via their new B2B Sky Connect ISP.

The SME 100 program is open to any small business that has been in business for at least 1 year in the UK and has up to 50 full-time employees. The selected companies will be representative of the UK, both geographically and in terms of diversity. Aligned with Sky’s 2025 goals, the goal is that 20% of winners will come from an ethnic minority.

As with last year’s offering, companies can nominate themselves online and will be selected by an internal Sky panel. All applicants (winners or losers) to the program will also receive a reduction of £ 250 on any 24-month Sky Connect digital and broadband phone plan. Once selected, the 100 winning companies will also be put in contact with creative agencies in their region to design and create their TV campaigns (broadcast via Sky’s AdSmart).

Stephen van Rooyen, EVP and CEO of Sky for UK & Europe, said:

“UK small businesses are more important than ever to the UK economy. The pandemic has hit them hard and we want to make sure they can bounce back even stronger. Through the SME100 program, we offer cutting edge products to help them stay in touch with their customers and, most importantly, increase their sales and income.

Over the past 12 months, Sky has contributed over £ 4.5million in advertising support to small businesses, and we will continue to do all we can to be there to help.
