Adelaide journalists and broadcasters Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz have been announced as new hosts for ABC Radio Adelaide’s Breakfast program.
- The duo will reprise the roles from January 21
- Both have extensive experience in South Australia and interstate
- Station chief says couple will add “positive energy and passion” during busy year in the news
Lee and Beilharz are well known to ABC audiences across South Australia, with Beilharz having presented programs for the past 15 years including the SA edition of The Country Hour.
Lee has established herself as a leading political journalist and is a regular contributor to ABC Radio Adelaide’s Spin Cycle program.
The duo will debut on air and on the ABC Listen app on Friday, January 21.
The couple succeed Ali Clarke, who resigned last year, and their appointments also follow the retirement of popular presenter and traveling journalist Spence Denny.
Beilharz’s career includes time spent working for the ABC in Queensland and Victoria, and said he made the decision to return to South Africa because he “really missed out on the local way of life. “.

Lee recently worked as an SA political reporter for ABC Adelaide and his career has also included production, presentation and reporting roles for Sky News and Channel Seven, as well as ABC, in Adelaide and Sydney.
“I loved bringing back all aspects of Adelaide’s life and it’s an honor to have the opportunity to help the city start its day,” she said.
Lee won the SA Press Club award for Best Business or Financial Report last year and was named Best Young Journalist in 2015.

The rest of the team are back with David Bevan, Sonya Feldhoff, Jules Schiller, Peter Goers and Deb Tribe returning with their usual recipe for information, entertainment, debate and discussion on all things Adelaide.
