Virgin Media launches new broadband and TV deal that Sky just can’t match

Virgin Media currently offers one of two different JBL speakers, depending on the plan you choose.

The JBL Flip 6 speaker – worth £129.99 – is added to Virgin Media plans from £33 per month.

While the JBL Extreme 3 – which is worth £299.99 – comes as a freebie with plans from £45 per month.

This incredible money-saving offer is something Virgin Media’s arch-rival Sky simply can’t match at the moment, with the makers of Sky Q and Sky Glass don’t offer similar freebies with their latest deals.

The JBL Flip 6 speaker is available on Virgin Media’s Big (£33 per month), Big bundle + Drama (£36.99 per month) and Big Volt (£45 per month) plans.

The first includes Virgin Media’s M50 broadband (which offers average download speeds of 54 Mbps) while the other two include the M100 fiber broadband package (which offers average downloads of 108 Mbps).

You’ll get over 100 TV channels with all these plans, unlimited weekend calls to landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers, and the brilliant Virgin TV 360 box – which lets you pause, rewind and play. record your favorite TV shows so you don’t miss a thing. a single episode.

While the Big Volt Bundle also includes a 10GB O2 Mobile SIM card to use.

If you’d rather get the more expensive JBL Extreme 3 for free, you’ll be able to choose from five different bundles.

This JBL speaker is included free with the Bigger Bundle (used to be £57 per month, now £45 per month), Bigger bundle + Movies (£62 per month), Bigger bundle + Sports (£72 per month), Bigger bundle + Sports & Movies (£79 per month) and Ultimate Volt (£99 per month) packages.

All of these plans offer access to Virgin Media’s 360 TV box, as well as around 200 TV channels which – depending on the package you choose – may also offer access to premium channels like Sky Cinema or Sky Sports.

They all offer, with the exception of the Ultimate Volt package, unlimited calls on weekends to fixed mobiles and Virgin Media as well as M100 fiber broadband.

The Ultimate Volt package is the exception as it offers unlimited landline calls anytime as well as access to Virgin Media’s Gig1 broadband.

This gigabit broadband service offers impressive average download speeds of 1,130 Mbps, allowing you to download an HD movie in about 30 seconds. Wow, that’s fast!

The Ultimate Volt pack also comes with an unlimited O2 SIM card to use.

All of the contracts mentioned above are for 18 months and require a £35 setup fee.

If you already have a Bluetooth speaker that you are happy with and don’t fancy getting a free JBL device, you can instead choose to get £75 or £150 which you can add to your bill .

Bill credit and free JBL speaker offers end after Wednesday, February 2.
