What’s New on Sky and Now in December 2021: All New Movies, TV Shows, and Sports Coming to Both Platforms This Month


Ahead of the Harry Potter Reunion available to stream on HBO Max in the New Year, you can stream all previous Harry Potter movies on Sky Cinema and on Now TV’s Cinema subscription starting December 21. A Boy Called Christmas, The Suicide Squad, Another Round, etc.

On Sky TV and the Now TV Entertainment subscription, you can watch the Sex and the City And Just Like That… spin-off, as well as The Lost Symbol, a mysterious thriller series based on Dan Brown’s novels, and The Landscapers : a new dark comedy series based on a true detective story.

Available Now – A Boy Called Christmas

Based on the children’s novel written by Matt Haig, it is the story of young Nikolas (nicknamed Christmas because of the day he was born) who leaves his evil aunt to find his father. Nikolas’ father went in search of the lost kingdom of Elfhelm, but never returned. Nikolas meets many interesting characters during his quest, which might simply involve him finding his true calling. This is a unique reinvention of the story of Santa Claus, available to stream from early December.

Available Now – The Incredible Mr Blunden

Based on Antonia Barber’s book and her 1972 film, The Amazing Mr Blunden follows two teenage boys, Jamie and Lucy, who are visited by a strange old man, Mr Blunden (played by Simon Callow). Mr. Blunden offers their mother to take care of a house in the country. Once there, they meet two other teenagers, apparently from another century, who also know the mysterious Mr. Blunden. December 25 – Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

On Christmas Day, the sequel to Peter Rabbit (2018) will be available to stream on Sky’s Cinema subscription and Now TV. This time around, Peter Rabbit has to get used to a new way of life when Thomas and Bea get married. Bea’s books are successful and she takes them to a publisher, Nigel Basil-Jones (played by David Oyelowo). Based on Dan Brown’s 2009 novel, this TV series also follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon.
